Last month, Queen icon Freddie Mercury would have turned 73 if he were still alive. To celebrate the occasion, the Never Boring box set , featuring all of his solo work, has been announced.
The compilation, to be released on October 11th, will feature special editions of the albums Mr Bad Guy (1985) and Barcelona (1988), including the track “Living On My Own,” which recently received a new mix. Now, to celebrate the release, the official music video for the song has been made available in 4K.
The video was recorded during the singer's 39th birthday party in 1985 at the Mrs Henderson club in Munich. The party had almost 300 guests, including Brian May , Mary Austin , Boy George , Steve Strange , Jim Hutton and John Reid.
Although it was made to accompany the release of the track in the 80s, the music video was only released in 1993, as the record label had prohibited its release due to "inappropriate and promiscuous content".
