Today, September 5th, Freddie Mercury would have turned 73 if he were alive. To celebrate the date, Never Boring: The Freddie Mercury Solo Box Set was announced, Queen vocalist's solo material .
The release will take place on October 11th and will include special editions of the albums Mr. Bad Guy (1985) and Barcelona (1988), as well as a compilation with 12 live tracks. The box set will contain three CDs, a Blu-ray, and a DVD with 13 music videos and live performances. Never Boring also includes a 120-page photo book with images and quotes from Mercury.
The book's introduction was written by Rami Malek , the actor who portrayed the singer in the film Bohemian Rhapsody . “'Never Boring' will bring a piece of Freddie into your life. I hope you will be able to pick up this collection and let the songs, images, and excerpts from Freddie Mercury's life inspire you, as they did me.”
