In June, the Ukrainian progressive metal band Jinjer announced that their fourth studio album, Wallflowers , will be released on August 27th. Along with the news, the band released the first single, " Vortex ," which has already reached 2.5 million streams/views.

Now Jinjer has released their second single, “Mediator,” with a music video as frenetic as the song itself. Regarding the release, vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk commented: “Over the years, we often realize that the world around us is far from what we expected. To our eyes as children, everything seemed much more colorful, better, and optimistic, didn't it? When did everything go wrong? When did everything become so gray? Is this really the world's fault? Or is it just about us pursuing the wrong goals? The wrong careers, ambitions, and achievements, instead of embracing an important truth? To paraphrase John Lennon , if anyone pursues anything other than happiness, then they haven't understood anything about life.”

The band is also preparing for a Latin American tour in 2022, which will include stops in Brazil in the cities of Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Limeira, and São Paulo between May 17th and 21st. More information here.
