Satyricon one Anthrax bassist Frank Bello will be joining them on their upcoming European festival tour in 2024, including Sweden Rock Fest in Sweden, Mystic Festival in Poland, Hellfest in France, and Tons of Rock in Norway.

The announcement came via the band's social media, which shared a photo of a rehearsal room, with the bassist appearing in the background, and commenting (via Blabbermouth ) on their performances at the aforementioned festivals.

“There’s smoke coming out of the SATYRICON HQ chimney every day. Next week we’re firing up the engine again, starting at the Sweden Rock and Mystic Festival. From there we’re going to Hellfest, Tons Of Rock, ARTmania Festival, Grieghallen/Beyond The Gates (two nights in a row), Brutal Assault, Hellsinki Metal Festival, Alcatraz Festival, Bloodstock Open Air and finally Næstved Metal Fest. In November we’ll arrive in Latin America.”

He continues: “As you can imagine, we are immensely excited to see all the Satyricon Ultras around the world again. If we’re not playing near you, maybe you’ll travel to see us, if not, we’ll meet up sometime later. This will be THE summer!”, he concludes.

Last week Frank Bello shared a photo of himself visiting the Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo.

The announcement came after Bello missed some Anthrax performances earlier this year, including the band's visit to Brazil for the Summer Breeze , which featured a worthy replacement, Dan Lilker , who played on Anthrax's first album, Fistful of Metal (1984), and 40 years later returned to perform with the band.

After seven years, Satyricon returns for a show in São Paulo with a setlist that will include classics from throughout the band's discography.

Tickets are available through the Clube do Ingresso .
