Frank Bello , bassist for Anthrax , recently posted a video where he appears playing the Iron Maiden Steve Harris Fender Precision bass from the collection .
In the video, Frank reveals that this is one of his favorite basses and proudly states that he is friends with Steve Harris . “Today I woke up in an Iron Maiden mood, which means I felt like playing some Maiden,” he says. “I went to my warehouse and picked a specific bass to inspire me, which was this baby. You probably already know by now – all of us Iron Maiden fans know; this is my Steve Harris Fender Precision .”
“But what makes this bass even more special to me is that when Anthrax went on tour with Iron Maiden – on one of the many tours we did together – I asked my, I’m honored to say, friend Steve Harris to sign it, which he did. So I love this bass, it’s one of my favorites. The sound is great, it plays great, and the feel is great.”
