Frank Bello denies that the Among The Living tour is about the money

Anthrax bassist Frank Bello was interviewed on an English radio station and asked if the anniversary tour for "Among The Living," the 1987 album, wasn't just a way to squeeze money out of fans. Bello replied:

"Squeeze money? We know people are going to like it, and that's the point. It's definitely not for that. We do it for the fans, and that's the truth. I think you do different things to be special. Squeeze money? We're not playing in arenas. It's nice theaters that we know fill up and sell out. But it's for the fans, man. Nothing more. We'll keep coming back, with other material. It's always for the fans at the end of the day, giving them what they want, because it's important to us."

Anthrax is touring to celebrate the 30th anniversary of "Among The Living," playing the album in its entirety, and will release a DVD of their performance in Glasgow, Scotland.
