Föxx Salema has a warning message for the current Brazilian government in the powerful single "You're The Next," a collaboration with keyboardist and husband Cleber Magalhães.

The song has a dark atmosphere and showcases a more aggressive sound in the vocalist's current career phase, who doesn't mince words in criticizing the stance of Jair Bolsonaro and supporters, referred to as "cattle" in the forceful lyrics, with criticisms of the government's approach to the environment, social minorities, and pandemic control.

"Thinking you're invincible, remember that Trump is gone, you're next," warns the chorus, referring to former US President Donald Trump , who lost his re-election this year. The lyric video is by Marcelo Silva , while the cover art is by Paulo Kalvo .

Salema will perform their first live show since July this Wednesday, December 8th, at the Mister Rock BH venue in Minas Gerais, starting at 4 PM. The backing band also includes guitarist Beto Lani , bassist Marlon Martins , backing vocalist Larissa Alencar , and drummer Rafael Costa.
