The band Fourkaos released the single “In Words Power Arises” last Wednesday, the 1st. The new release was accompanied by the announcement of the band's new album, Convictus?, which will be available in March.

In a press release, vocalist and guitarist Johnny Glaydson commented: “Fourkaos has previously demonstrated that it evolves by leaps and bounds, and the song 'In Words Power Arises' is yet another demonstration of this. The single showcases the entire repertoire of influences from the band members and incorporates a trend in the new way of making metal today. It's a work with a lot of personality that represents very well what the new album will be. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoy this new material; it's just a demonstration of what we are about to share with all metal lovers.”

The music video for the track, which features actress Leyla Lunna , was directed and produced by the group itself.

Convictus? is the second album by Fourkaos, following Remnants of Sanity (2019). In 2021, the band made their comeback with the song “ Hell is Others ”.

Convictus? is composed of seven songs, with an instrumental sound that incorporates the new way of making metal today, in addition to bringing traditional influences from the band members. The album addresses cyclical and conflicting themes that every human being goes through or will go through in their life experience. It is an existential project and the band's most contemplative, demonstrating the maturity and compositional strength of musicians who aspire to consolidate a metal with ever greater quality and depth.”
