Some of these are from the band's first studio session
Four early Nirvana demos were released after musician John Purkey, a friend of Kurt Cobain, posted them on YouTube.
The four videos show different cassette tapes that he claims to have received from Cobain himself. They contain rare recordings such as Nirvana's first session at Reciprocal Studios in Seattle in 1988 for the album Bleach .
Some demos already feature Chad Channing on drums from the Nevermind , but others still include Dale Crover from The Melvis, who ended up playing on the band's first studio album.
In the videos, John explains that he had a close relationship with Nirvana when they first started playing. Watch below:
