Former Nightwish vocalist Anette Olzon has announced that her first solo album, titled "Shine," will be released on February 28th of next year. The CD will be released by earMusic.
The singer spoke about her solo work, explaining that it will compile songs written since 2009 and some more recent ones. Olzon also talked about the style: “Ultimately, it’s a Rock album. Maybe Pop Rock. Or Pop Metal?”
In 2009, the singer released two demos that were intended to be part of a solo album, which ended up being postponed. The songs will possibly be included in the release. Check them out below:
