Former Nevermore and Forbidden guitarist Tim Calvert has died at the age of 52 from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). His death was confirmed by his sister, Vicky Calvert-Hawkins.

Calvert played on three Forbidden albums, Twisted Into Form (1990), Distortion (1994) and Green (1997), and on Nevermore's album Dreaming Neon Black , released in 1999.
