The cause of death was not announced
Original Molly Hatchett drummer Bruce Crump passed away yesterday, the 16th, at the age of 57. The official statement was posted on the Molly Hatchett Facebook page, without an announced cause of death.
“We send our condolences from the entire Molly Hatchett organization to Bruce Crump’s family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.” The band also posted a statement on Twitter: “We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Molly Hatchett drummer Bruce Crump. We are praying for his family and friends.”
Crump joined Molly Hatchett at age 20, in 1976, and remained in the band until the 1990s, leaving only briefly in 1983.
