Foo Fighters release thrash metal track “March of the Insane”; listen now.

The song is part of the horror-comedy film 'Studio 666'.

Foo Fighters surprised everyone this Wednesday, the 16th, with the release of their new song "March of the Insane." The reason for the surprise is seeing the band exploring a rock genre that hadn't been tested before: thrash metal.

"March of the Insane" is part of the soundtrack for the horror-comedy film Studio 666 , which will be released on February 25th. The film features the Foo Fighters themselves playing themselves as they attempt to record their 10th studio album in a haunted mansion.

The new song was released under the pseudonym Dream Widow and features heavy guitars, a frenetic rhythm, and raspy vocals. Check out this new side of the band:
