Foo Fighters to go on hiatus, says website.

Dave Grohl wants to regain his family's trust after announcing his daughter born out of wedlock.

According to information from the Page Six , the Foo Fighters will be going on an indefinite hiatus. The break comes after the band's frontman, Dave Grohl, announced that he had a daughter from an extramarital affair .

The website also reports that the group will not be touring for the time being. A source told US Sun , the American version of The Sun , that Grohl "wants to be at home and focus on regaining his family's trust."

The source also says that no band member wants to be on tour at this time and that the hiatus was the best solution found. It was also said that the members need to be with their families and should "focus on regrouping again."

"These have been turbulent years, with the loss of his best friend, drummer Taylor Hawkins [in March 2022], the death of Dave's mother, and now the birth of his new daughter," the source said.

The signs of the alleged hiatus come after the band canceled their performance at the Soundside Music Festival on September 29th , which would have been Grohl's first public appearance since the announcement.

Representatives for the band were contacted but did not respond to Page Six .

The band's last performance was on September 6th in Anaheim, California, a few days before Dave made his statement on September 10th.
