Foo Fighters announced the postponement of their show in Los Angeles, scheduled for this Saturday, the 17th, after a confirmed case of COVID-19 in their team.
In a statement released on social media regarding the postponement, the band did not provide further details about the infected person. "Despite making every effort to follow the protocols of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local laws, there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the Foo Fighters organization," they stated. The new date for the show at The Forum has not yet been announced, but tickets remain valid.
Dave Grohl 's band was one of the first bands to resume large-capacity shows in the United States since the start of the pandemic and debuted Madison Square Garden in June . Among the safety measures, the group required proof of vaccination from the audience and faced backlash and protests from anti-vaccine groups .
