The Foo Fighters performed this past weekend on NBC's Saturday Night Live
The band performed “Rescued” with singer HER and then “The Glass.” Both tracks are from the album But Here We Are , released this year.
This was the 9th time the Foo Fighters were invited to participate in the show and the 15th time for their lead singer. Dave Grohl has previously appeared twice with Nirvana , once with Them Crooked Vultures , once with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers , and three times as a special guest. This made him the musician with the most appearances on Saturday Night Live.
This Saturday's performance, the 28th, by Foo Fighters was the band's first without their late drummer Taylor Hawkins.
