Foo Fighters will broadcast today (07), at 9pm (Brasilia time), the show they performed on August 7th, at the 2011 edition of Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Wasting Light world tour , which began on January 28, 2011, and ended on September 22, 2012.
Perry Farrell , founder of Lollapalooza and vocalist of Jane's Addiction , was honored by the band on the track "Cold Day In The Sun." Furthermore, he joined Foo Fighters on the final song of the setlist (out of 20 songs!), the classic "Everlong."
The setlist became even more special when the band also performed a cover of "Young Man Blues" by pianist Mose Allison .
The show will be streamed on the festival's YouTube channel and will promote the NGO Crew Nation LiveNation initiative that is assisting music industry workers experiencing hardship during the coronavirus crisis.
