Despite being a compilation and not a new album, The Essential will be the first Foo Fighters release since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins , who passed away in the early hours of March 25th.
The compilation of hits is the second to be released, following Greatest Hits . The album will be available on CD and double vinyl. The complete tracklist includes the biggest hits of Foo Fighters' career, including two versions of "Everlong," as well as "My Hero," "Best Of You," and more.
