Foo Fighters have released “Of All People,” the latest single from their 12th studio album. Titled Your Favorite Toy, the album is scheduled for release on April 24th by Roswell Records and RCA Records.
“Of All People” was performed live during the Foo Fighters’ recent series of intimate shows in the UK and Ireland. In an interview with The Guardian, vocalist Dave Grohl said he wrote the song “after meeting a drug dealer from the 90s who was getting everyone high on heroin.”
“I hadn’t seen them in 30 years, and they are alive, healthy, and sober. I was very happy that this person survived. But at the same time, I was devastated because of all the people I know that we lost to this very drug,” he revealed.
Recorded in a home studio and co-produced by the Foo Fighters themselves with engineer Oliver Roman, Your Favorite Toy features a total of ten tracks, including the already known "Asking For A Friend," released in 2025, which closes the album. The production also included mixing by veteran Mark "Spike" Stent.
The band's lineup includes Dave Grohl, bassist Nate Mendel, guitarists Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear, keyboardist Rami Jaffee and new drummer Ilan Rubin, who joined in 2025 's departure Josh Freese
The band will perform at Rock In Rio 2026 as the headliner on the World Stage on September 4th.
