Foo Fighters have cancelled their headlining appearance at the Soundside Festival in Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The band was scheduled to headline Sunday night, the 29th, but was replaced by Jack White and Greta Van Fleet .
Through their social media, the group released the following statement: “Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at the Soundside Festival this weekend. Please check the festival website for more information.” No further information was provided by the band.
Saturday night will be headlined by Noah Kahan , with support from Goo Goo Dolls , Fleet Foxes , Boyz II Men , Grace Potter and more, while Sunday, in addition to Jack White and Greta Van Fleet, will feature Bleachers , Norah Jones , Teddy Swims , among others.
Originally, Queens Of The Stone Age to participate in the festival, but they had to cancel so that vocalist Josh Homme could recover from emergency surgery.
Recently, Dave Grohl , the band's frontman, announced on his social media that he had become a father to a daughter out of wedlock : “I recently became a father to a baby girl, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and supportive father to her. I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved as we move forward together.”
