The band is performing at the event for the first time
The organizers of the 2018 BRIT Awards have announced Foo Fighters as one of the musical acts for the ceremony.
This will be the band's first time at the awards ceremony, and Dave Grohl expressed his excitement in a post on the official Foo Fighters Facebook page.
“How come we’ve never played at the Brit Awards? We’ve had several ‘firsts’ in the UK. Our first festival (Reading in 1995), our first arena tour (2002) and our first stadium tour (2008)… You’ve always been so good to us. Why not add the Brit Awards to the list?”
Let's make some noise!
"See you there,
Dave."
The Brit Awards will take place on February 21st and will also feature performances by Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, and Stormzy.
The Foo Fighters are coming to Brazil in February for a joint tour with Queens Of The Stone Age, playing in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre.
