Hard Rock chain has announced that it will open its first location in Brazil. In a statement, the company reveals that the current Arena Petry, in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, will be transformed into the first Hard Rock.
The venue, in addition to the famous hotel, will feature the largest indoor arena in Brazil, with a capacity of 17,000 people. The company also says the plan includes a casino from the chain, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
In announcing the news, the president of the Arena Petry group, Sandro Petry, stated: “We are excited about the partnership with Hard Rock to begin a new cycle in the Arena Petry project. We are confident that the brand's passion for music and entertainment will be the perfect combination for a vibrant and renewed arena.”
The Hard Rock group is already in Brazil with its cafes in the cities of Curitiba, Fortaleza, and Gramado. Several other locations are expected to open in 2020, including those in Fortaleza and Ilha do Sol, in Paraná.
It has not yet been announced when the Hard Rock in Florianópolis will open.
