Floor Jansen , vocalist for Nightwish and Northward , released her first solo album, Paragon , this Friday, the 24th.
According to Blabbermouth , the album departs somewhat from Jansen's work in metal and showcases "the singer's impressive vocal range and powerful voice in a diverse collection of pop-infused tracks and emotive ballads influenced by the sounds of her career."
Regarding Paragon , Floor Jansen commented : “Growing older is a gift not everyone receives. I am a lucky woman who managed to make an album I never knew I could make. One that even defines me, where I am on my path. I am very proud of this work! And grateful for all the incredible people in this beautiful life who helped me get here!”
