Floor Jansen , in an interview with The Charismatic Voice , spoke about which artists she would like to collaborate with. The vocalist replied: “I would love to work with Lzzy Hale . We met once at a festival in the UK. And there, I was fascinated, because from the moment I heard that opening note of 'I Miss The Misery', that song where she's like [singing the high note], I was like, 'Okay, yes! Yes.'”
Jansen, in 2023, had already expressed his admiration for Lzzy in an interview with Metal Hammer , where he mentions Halestorm's album The Strange Case Of… as one of the 10 albums that changed his life. Floor said: “I'm not exactly sure how I came across 'I Miss The Misery', but that was the first thing I heard from Halestorm .
The first thing Lzzy does in this song is howl, and she really hooked me with that first note – and that's rare. I was like, 'Okay, wow!'. It's quite Americanized and that 'whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh' section is quite cheesy, but it totally works.”
Floor continues: “I saw her live and all I can think about is how does her voice survive? She screams and grunts and everything she does is really cool. Lzzy is a powerhouse. She stands firm being feminine in a man's world and describing her feelings very objectively in her lyrics.”

In November 2022, Floor announced that she was cured of her breast cancer , following surgery to have the tumor removed, after a diagnosis.
In October 2023, Sabaton , Hannes van Dahl , lovingly welcomed their second daughter, Lucy . The couple's first daughter, Freja , now seven years old, was born on March 15, 2017.
Fans of the band were surprised when the band announced they would not be touring to celebrate their latest album, Yesterwynde , released on September 20, 2024, by Nuclear Blast .
