Nightwish vocalist Floor Jansen spoke about the band's fan reception in an interview with a Canadian website. Check out her statement:
“Well, fans are always somewhat divided, but from the beginning I felt very welcome. I know the vocalist before me had quite a bit of trouble with that. Maybe because I'm the third singer, it's easier, because people got used to changes, or something like that. But for me it was very easy; I was accepted from day one. And of course, back then, and even now, there are people who prefer the other singers or someone completely different – you can't please everyone – but the general feeling of being welcome has always been there.”
Nightwish recently announced that they will be taking a hiatus from band activities in 2017.
