Floor Jansen shared last Monday, the 20th, that she is pregnant with her second child with Sabaton Hannes Van Dahl . The couple already has a daughter Freja , who is 6 years old.
"Life is good! We're going from three to four! Freja is going to be a big sister! We are so happy to share this very special news with you!", the Dutch singer wrote on social media.
Nightwish 's colleagues , of course, congratulated the singer in the comments: "So happy for you!".
The news comes shortly after Floor Jansen revealed that she is cured of the breast cancer diagnosed in October 2022.
Previously, in an interview with Mariskal Rock TV , the vocalist reassured fans by stating that she would not leave the band upon becoming a mother: “No, I’m not leaving Nightwish. Don’t worry. Things are great, and we’ll keep doing this forever” (via Roadie Crew ).
This Friday, the 24th, the Dutch singer releases her first solo album, Paragon , and her pregnancy will not prevent her from going on tour to promote the new project.
