The alternate version of the track is part of a re-release by the band.
Fleetwood Mac is preparing to reissue their self-titled 1975 album, and as part of its promotion, an unreleased version of one of its tracks has been made available.
When it was released, neither Stevie Nicks nor the rest of her band imagined that "Landslide" would become so famous. Today, the track is one of their signature songs, impossible to confuse with anyone else's.
The original version of "Landslide" sounds quite similar to the one we know from the album, differing only in Stevie's voice, which sounds more raw, accompanied only by an acoustic guitar and light percussion.
The 1975 reissue follows a series of other Fleetwood Mac reissues that include previously unreleased versions and live recordings.
The album will be released in various formats, including a deluxe version with three CDs, a DVD, and a vinyl record.
