Junior Groovador became famous last year after transforming some international rock classics into forró music. His success was so great that the bassist was invited to play with Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D at Rock in Rio 2019.
Flea 's turn , the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers , to be impressed by Junior. On Twitter, he shared a teaser of a video in which he does a "northeastern and upbeat" cover of the classic "By The Way," the title track from the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2002 album.
The following day, a Twitter user shared the video and said Flea needed to watch it, tagging the bassist's profile. Flea replied to the post and praised Junior: "Beautiful, witty, and makes me happy."
