The music video features Nick Peterson as director, with a conceptual story developed by vocalist Ivan Moody and animations by Tristan Zammit and Rodrigo Silveira . Beginning with statistics about human trafficking, the story presents Moody as a superhero fighting against human traffickers, mixing action scenes with comic book-style drawings.

Regarding the story behind “Judgement Day,” Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory told the Midland Daily News that the idea behind the song was to create a “soundtrack to the process of dying.” After writing the melody, he gave it to Moody to write the lyrics. “He freaked out. He said, ‘I’m not going to write that song. I don’t want to [relive that].’ He immediately understood. I’ve been through it. I know what it’s like. When I die, that’s what happens.”
