Five Finger Death Punch has officially begun recording their ninth studio album, the successor to F8 , released in February 2020. The news was confirmed by bassist Chris Kael and the band themselves on social media.
In a post made last Saturday, the 10th, the musician shared a picture from The Hideout Recording Studio , located in Las Vegas. "One of the hardest working bands in the business working hard on album number nine. Are you ready?", he wrote in the caption.
The band also shared part of the creative process with the public. “It’s true, we’re working on a new album. If you’ve ever wondered how everything takes shape with [vocalist] Ivan Moody … Pen and paper. No iPads/iPhones/laptops allowed,” the group shared.
In addition to the band members, other collaborators were also revealed in the publications, such as Kevin Churko, a producer, engineer, and composer known for his work with names like Ozzy Osbourne , Disturbed , Papa Roach , and Hellyeah , to name a few.
