Five Finger Death Punch released the music video for "The Tragic Truth" this Friday, the 7th. The track is part of the group's most recent album, A Decade Of Destruction Vol. 2 , released in October 2021.
In the video, vocalist Ivan Moody is shown drinking directly from a bottle of alcohol while reminiscing about happy moments, such as concerts. Zombie-like beings appear on the screen and terrorize the singer, as if they were influencing him towards addiction and causing further destruction in his life.
The music video is a literal reflection of the song it sings: "I'm drowning in the bottom of a bottle / Running from a man I swore I'd never be."
