Ulrich commented on the first concert he ever did, in 1982

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich celebrated the band's 37th anniversary with a photo from their first show. He also shared the setlist and some comments about the date.

The show took place on March 14, 1982, in California. The lineup included James Hetfield on vocals, Dave Mustaine on guitar, Ron McGovney on bass, and Ulrich on drums. The band played mostly covers, and tickets cost $15. 75 people attended the event.

There were only two original songs, “Hit The Lights” and “Jump In The Fire.” The rest of the setlist featured covers of Sweet Savage, Diamond Head, and Blitzkrieg .

Ulrich wrote on Instagram: “This was the first concert I ever did. I was very nervous.”
