Grey Daze was Chester Bennington's first band.

Chester Bennington 's first band , Grey Daze , has announced that it is re-recording old material. To help, it has recruited family and friends of Chester.

Most notably, the son of Linkin Park , Jamie Bennington , 22, recorded vocals for the project. Jamie has been recording several of his own compositions in recent years.

Grey Daze posted a photo of Jaime in the studio. The caption reads: “Chester would be so proud of his son Jaime Bennington. We had Jaime singing alongside his dad last night at NRG Recordings studio and his voice was great. Sounds a lot like his dad and we’re so happy to be a part of it.”

In addition to Jaime, other musicians will participate in the re-recordings. Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” from Korn , Marcos Curiel from P.O.D. , and Chris Traynor from Bush . Also joining them is Ryan Shuck from Chester's other band, Dead By Sunrise .
