In recent weeks, the Los Angeles area has suffered five simultaneous wildfires, which devastated entire neighborhoods and forced more than 150,000 people to leave their homes. Furthermore, the tragedy has already left 27 dead and 31 missing, numbers that continue to rise as the search continues.
To raise donations and offer support to victims, the FireAid has been confirmed for January 30th. Last Friday, the 17th, the organization released the highly anticipated list of artists, which includes big names in international pop and rock. Another new feature is that the performances will take place on two simultaneous stages: the Intuit Dome and the KIA Forum , both located in Los Angeles.
The event's lineup is impressive and includes names like Green Day , Stevie Nicks , Red Hot Chili Peppers , Gwen Stefani , Joni Mitchell , Earth, Wind & Fire , Sting , Rod Stewart , and Dave Matthews . In addition, Billie Eilish , accompanied by her brother Finneas , will also be present, as well as Katy Perry , Lady Gaga , and Gracie Abrams . More names are expected to be announced in the coming days, further increasing the anticipation for the festival.
The shows will begin at 6 a.m. (local time), and tickets will be available for purchase starting January 22nd on the Ticketmaster . Direct donations to support the victims of the fires can also be made through the same website.
