The São Paulo-based sludge metal power trio, Finis Hominis , released their debut EP, Sordidum Est , on the 3rd of this month. The EP offers a profound reflection on dense and critical themes across five tracks that evoke visceral and lamenting feelings.
Sordidum Est was recorded at the Associação Cultural Sinfonia de Cães , produced by Renato Gimenez ( Vazio , Social Chaos , Armagedom ) and the band itself, which consists of Mega (bass and vocals), Vitu (guitar and vocals), and João Paulo (drums).
The cover art is the work of illustrator and tattoo artist Alexandre Soares and represents the inability of individuals to react to the evil directed at them.
