Yesterday imagines a world without the Beatles, but they put the band back on the charts.

The film Yesterday , which premiered in the United States on June 28, brought the Beatles back to the Billboard charts. Yesterday depicts a world where musician Jack Malik is on the verge of giving up on his dreams. His career as a singer and songwriter never took off. Until he suffers a bus accident during a blackout that erases the Beatles from existence. The cast includes Himesh Patel, Lily James, Kaye McKinnon, Ana de Armas , and Ed Sheeran playing himself – with no appearance from any of the Beatles.
