The film Yesterday , which premiered in the United States on June 28, brought the Beatles back to the Billboard charts. On the Hot Rock Songs , which counts the most streamed rock songs on streaming services and radio, as well as sales in digital stores, the Beatles appeared five times in the most recent update.

Paul McCartney and John Lennon are composers of at least four of the five tracks above. The Beatles' producer, George Martin , also benefits, appearing on the Rock Producers . Martin also received full production credit on "Here Comes the Sun," "Yesterday," "Hey Jude," and "Come Together," and is co-credited as a producer on "Let It Be" with Phil Spector.
Yesterday depicts a world where musician Jack Malik is on the verge of giving up on his dreams. His career as a singer and songwriter never took off. Until he suffers a bus accident during a blackout that erases the Beatles from existence. The cast includes Himesh Patel, Lily James, Kaye McKinnon, Ana de Armas , and Ed Sheeran playing himself – with no appearance from any of the Beatles.
