The film will be released at the end of this year.

Bohemian Rhapsody , a film about the life of singer Freddie Mercury and the legendary band Queen, had its premiere moved up in the United States.

Originally scheduled for release in American cinemas at Christmas, the film has been moved up from December 25th of this year to November 2nd. As of now, the Brazilian theatrical release date remains set for December 27th, but is subject to change.

The news follows a series of problems in the film's pre-production that brought changes to the cast and the director's chair. Dexter Fletcher is directing the film after filmmaker Bryan Singer was fired by Fox.

The film will star Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in a screenplay written by Justin Haythe and Anthony McCarten, and will depict Queen's early years when Freddie met guitarist Brian May (Gwilym Lee), drummer Roger Taylor (Ben Hardy), and bassist John Deacon (Joseph Mazzello), culminating in the LIVE AID concert performed in 1985.
