Fernanda Lira , former lead singer of Nervosa , had taken a break from her social media due to the surprising decision to leave the band . However, the break is over, and the artist has returned with lots of news.
In her return post, Lira wrote, "Unfortunately I wasn't abducted, I just needed a mini mental and emotional vacation to organize my thoughts, but now I'm back on the scene, posting the silly things you guys wrote that you missed haha"
Despite the numerous offensive comments made online after leaving the band, the artist decided to highlight those who supported her decision, including in terms of followers: “I wanted to thank you all for your affection <3 Thank you for the hundreds of messages of support, the beautiful words, you are a greater source of strength than you can imagine. Oh, and thank you and welcome to the 7,000 new followers in these last few days (what kind of witchcraft is this, people??? Hahaha) Now we are over 80k, THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
“Most of the messages I received were from people worried about whether I was going to continue in music, etc. And the answer is – OBVIOUSLY haha. A few weeks ago I already posted here about my new adventures, but here it is again for those who hadn't seen it. No, I'm not going to 'sing MPB, it's obvious, because I was already very zen', nor am I going to 'do a Beyoncé ', as some speculated hahaha (although I would love to, right),” she clarified the assumptions that filled the internet.
As guitarist Prika Amaral had already mentioned , Fernanda is already in a new band, and she clarifies, “I’ve had this new project for a while now, it’s Death Metal, and that’s where my focus is entirely now. I can’t say much yet, but I can tell you that yes, it’s an all-female band and that you’ll have some slight vocal surprises (no, it’s not clean vocals, guys, I speculate too haha). We’ll be announcing the news here gradually, so STAY TUNED, because there’s something coming soon. Again, THANK YOU and let’s go!”
