"Formed in June 2019, CRYPTA is a Brazilian/Dutch Death Metal quartet whose influences hark back to the old-school roots of the style's various subgenres," says the announcement text.
“The band's lineup includes Fernanda Lira (bass and vocals) and Luana Dametto (drums), both former members of the Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa, Sonia Anubis (lead guitar), who also plays heavy metal in Burning Witches and Cobra Spell, and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitar), former guitarist of Hagbard. The quartet is currently working on finalizing the songs for their first album, which is yet to be recorded and whose details will be announced soon.” We are excited!
