Felipe Machado , founder and guitarist of VIPER , released today, the 29th, the music video for the track “Tourist (Mario Fischetti Remix)”, which is part of the album FM X: Solo Remixes , an electronic version of the artist's first solo album, FMSolo .
Edited and post-produced by Paulo Rocha , aka PROX , the music video shows scenes of Felipe on the streets of New Orleans, USA, and Fischetti performing at Marina de Vilamoura, in the Algarve region of Portugal.
Machado explains in a press release that choosing New Orleans as one of the video's settings came from an insight : “I was in New Orleans to see a show, and when I saw the number of tourists in the city, I remembered that I was also a tourist. I grabbed my cell phone and went out into the city streets singing and filming. It turned out sensational,” he recalls.
“I edited the material as if I were remixing the images. I altered several elements of the original videos, such as timing, color, texture, and inserted new layers of lights to simulate the atmosphere of a club,” PROX shares about the video.
