Globally revered as an iconic and influential industrial metal band, Fear Factory is about to return to Brazil. This time with the brutal and technically proficient new vocalist Milo Silvestro . The only show in the country will be in São Paulo, on June 6th, at Fabrique Club.
The opening bands are the veteran Brazilian groups Korzus and Skin Culture .
Fear Factory's return to São Paulo, just like the last time the American band played in Brazil in 2015, is a production of Powerline Music & Books .
The show in Brazil is part of Fear Factory's extensive new tour of Latin America, entitled The Machine Will Rise Again , which also includes stops in Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Chile.
Milo, the new vocalist, was recently announced as the replacement for Burt C. Bell , co-founder alongside guitarist Dino Cazares . Milo's live debut took place on February 27th in Portland, Oregon (USA), where he received a standing ovation and full approval from the audience and, subsequently, from fans who had access to recordings of the performance at this show.
Dino Cazares commented on the choice of Milo: "The search was long and meticulous, but I'm sure we found the right guy."
Milo Silvestro also commented on the new challenge leading Fear Factory: "I've been a fan of the band for many years and it feels very surreal, but I'm excited to be a part of it."
Today, Fear Factory consists of Dino Cazares (guitar), Tony Campos (bass), Mike Heller (drums), and Milo Silvestro (vocals).
Korzus , a legendary Brazilian metal band with 40 years on the road, promises a breathtaking performance. Guitarist Antônio Araújo ’s a great pleasure to play alongside the great Fear Factory. We’re going to have a day celebrating metal and the art of guitar picking.”
