Bangers Open Air 2026 announced this Monday, the 20th, that the band Torture Squadwill be part of the festival's lineup, replacing Fear Factory, which canceled its participation due to health problems.
Torture Squad will perform a "Best Of" show, celebrating their 33-year career, on the Sun Stage at 3:40 PM. "It's an honor to be invited by the festival to fill in for Fear Factory, who unfortunately won't be able to play. We're rehearsing for the European tour, so we're ready to put on a special show that will please the headbangers," says drummer Amilcar Christófaro.
Bangers Open Air takes place this weekend, April 25th and 26th, at the Memorial da América Latina. Secure your tickets at Clube do Ingresso.
The full lineup includes Angra, Smith/Kotzen, Fear Factory, Jinjer, Killswitch Engage, In Flames, and others. In addition to the previously announced acts, Within Temptation, Feuerschwanz, Primal Fear, Tankard, Black Label Society, Nevermore, Onslaught , and Crazy Lixx.
The 2025 edition stirred up the headbanger community in São Paulo between May 2nd and 4th, delivering a memorable festival with acts like Doro, Sabaton, Avantasia's exclusive coverage Wikimetal: Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th.
