“Fast” Eddie Clarke , the late guitarist and member of Motörhead , is brought to life in a biography and a box set containing 4 CDs . The book, titled Make My Day: The Rock 'n' Roll Story of Fast Eddie Clarke, has 320 pages, and both works are scheduled for release on September 6th.
The book is authored by journalist Kris Needs and Mariko Fujiwara, Eddie's widow. The biography chronicles the guitarist's career and personal life, covering his time in the UK rock scene, his trajectory with Motörhead, and his hard rock band Fastway .
Box set with 4 CDs
In addition to the book containing Clarke's life stories, a box set will be released on the same date. This carefully curated collection presents the guitarist's complete discography, from his earliest recordings to his latest works.
In chronological order, the box set explores the artist's musical journey across four albums.
1st Disc – The early years, showcasing his first bands: Zeus, Continuous Performance and Muggers;
2nd Disc – Selected Motörhead classics;
3rd Disc – Selected cuts, demos and remixes from the band Fastway;
4th Disc – Solo and experimental projects.
