The world is pleading with you to stay home, or if you need to go out, stay a meter away from other people, practice social distancing and isolation. However, some people can't seem to understand these requests. It makes you want to ask, "Do you want me to draw you a picture?" Well, one company did something similar: altering the covers of major rock albums, keeping their members distanced from each other.
The Los Angeles-based company Activista , which aims to promote social, cultural, and economic transformation through creativity, is carrying out a project to support social distancing in the fight against the coronavirus, called 6 Feet Cover .
On the Instagram , album covers such as Abbey Road by The Beatles , Destroyer by KISS , Queen II by Queen , and Hey! Ho! Let's Go! Anthology by The Ramones show the band members far apart from each other, whereas originally, and in times when gatherings were not harmful, they were together on the covers.
On the project's website , the portfolio of altered album covers extends to covers such as Highway to Hell by AC/DC , Ten by Pearl Jam , among many others.
Below are some of the altered covers from the 6 Feet Covers by the Los Angeles Activist:
