Faith No More has revealed that they have no plans to produce new music despite their reunion in 2020.

The band will be playing a series of shows across Europe this year.

Even so, the idea is not to produce new material. "You know, there are no plans right now to record new music. There are no plans at all," said keyboardist Roddy Bottum .

He added: “I think we’re at an age, or a point in life, where looking back at what we’ve already done is a profound place to be. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished in a way I’ve never been before.”

“I think years ago I would have felt a little dirty, like we were taking advantage of the world by only playing old songs. But, for whatever reason, I’m in a different place now,” he explained.

“I think our legacy speaks for itself. It’s refreshing and appropriately provocative to throw ourselves back into the world.”
