Guitarist posts statement

Extreme guitarist Nuno Bittencourt had his accounts hacked and several photos, including those of his family, children, and intimate photos of himself, were leaked online. The photos were posted on Instagram and remained online for a few hours before being removed.

Nuno posted a statement on his official Facebook page:

I woke from a deep sleep to someone banging very loudly on my door. I knew it could only be bad news, but when they told me what had happened, I couldn't understand.

Basically, my accounts were compromised. But the worst part was the photos.

I want to apologize to all of you, my friends, family, but especially to my children.

I apologize to those who were offended by the photos, but I am more disappointed by the photos of my children that were posted.

I have always tried to keep my children's lives private, and I am saddened that this has been violated. Thank you to everyone who reached out to help
