Tom Hunting speaks in an interview
In an interview with Spark TV, Exodus drummer Tom Hunting spoke about the band's songwriting process and when we can expect new releases from them, whose last album, "Blood In, Blood Out," was released in 2014.
"We're going to start working in January, which is when Gary [Holt, guitarist for Exodus and Slayer] takes a break from Slayer, and the Exodus tour will be over. So we'll go into the studio and start jamming."
Regarding whether the band has written anything new yet, Hunting says: "It's in a super basic stage so far. Just guitar riffs, and I haven't even heard most of it yet."
Hunting then says we can expect new work in 2017: “I hope to have something in the middle or end of 2017. It’s not so much about the quantity of material you release, it has to be good. I worry more about releasing something good than releasing something quickly.”
