Exodus' last release was in 2014.
Exodus vocalist Steve 'Zetro' Souza said that fans will have to wait until the end of 2019 to hear a new album from the band, in an interview with Janne Vuorela .
“Unfortunately, since our main guitarist and songwriter [ Gary Holt ] is touring with Slayer , we’ll probably have to wait until the tour is over. So, I’d say the end of 2019. I’m not saying we won’t play or tour, we just won’t release [any new music].”
Asked about the type of music that will be on the next album, Zetro said, “What kind of music have you listened to in the last 35 years? Absolutely heavy, brutal, violent and crazy, like normal Exodus stuff. There won’t be any slowing down here, I’m sure.”
Exodus' last studio album, Blood In Blood Out , was released in 2014.
