The band will not be playing at the Metal Alliance Tour show
Exodus will be forced to forfeit one of the dates on the Metal Alliance Tour, by order of the Walt Disney Corporation.
Because Disney owns the House of Blues in Florida, the venue where the show will take place, it banned the band from the show, arguing that their music is too violent.
The show, scheduled for April 12th, will be held at a different location because Disney banned Exodus from performing, citing the band's own statement as "too metal.".
The practice of banning a band for being "too Metal" is nothing new for Disney. The company previously banned Machine Head from playing at the same venue in 2009, arguing that their music incites violence and that the band attracts "undesirable fans.".
Daath, The Faceless, Snot, and Gallows are other bands that have also been banned.
