Exodus in Brazil: What to expect from the show in São Paulo

The band returns to Brazil on October 9th for a single performance at Carioca Club.

Exodus 40 Years of Blood tour . The legendary thrash metal band will play a single show in São Paulo, at Carioca Club, on October 9th – tickets on sale now .

The country's largest city will host one of the most explosive performances of the year. Get ready for a night filled with mosh pits , devastating solos from Gary Holt , and killer beats from Tom Hunting.

Debut album being played in its entirety.

Bonded By Blood , the band's debut album, celebrated its fortieth anniversary in April 2025. To celebrate, Holt and company will play it in its entirety. It was the only album by the group to feature Paul Baloff on vocals.

The classics “Exodus”, “Bonded By Blood”, “Piranha”, “A Lesson in Violence” and the hit “Strike of the Beast” will certainly be on the setlist. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to hear tracks like “Metal Command”, “No Love”, “Deliver Us to Evil” and “And Then There Were None”.

Exodus' show in São Paulo will be their first in Brazil since Rob Dukes returned as lead vocalist.

On January 15th of this year, the group announced the departure of Steve “Zetro” Souza and, in turn, the return of Rob Dukes to the band. Incidentally, Souza was the band's vocalist for three periods: 1986 and 1993, 2002 to 2004, and most recently, from 2014 to 2025.

During his first stint with the band, Dukes was part of the lineup between 2005 and 2014, a period in which he recorded four albums: Shovel Headed Kill Machine (2005) , The Atrocity Exhibition…Exhibit A (2007) , Let There Be Blood (2008, which is a re-recording of Bonded By Blood ), and Exhibit B: The Human Condition (2010) .
